                               NEW TOKIO HOTEL FANBOOK

Dear Tokio Hotel Fans!

With some of you I speak every day, others I barely meet. I'm sending this email to everyone I know now, with for me important news. I hope you'll be happy with it too. Some of you already knew about me working on a book with TH included. After working for a long very long time I have finished the writing and found a publisher who is willing to put my book on the international market! Yes! You got it right. My book will be published and sold!

Later in this message a short description of the book will follow so you have an idea about what it is like and what you can expect when buying it.

To get my book realized I have to provide the publisher a list of 50 names and e-mailaddresses of buyers for the book. I have to sell 20 books within one month and have the books paid through the publisher (details will follow later). The book will be in the publication process as soon as 20 books are orderen and paid. This is my one chance in a lifetime to get my book into the bookstores and webshops and it's about TH but if you are not a fan you can easily read it too. It's a book for everyone who loves reading and adventure and has a bit of a strong stomach...

Now I'd like to ask everyone of you to read the description below and take the following steps when you are interested in buying one (or more) book(s):
1. send a new e-mail to megan.boek@live.nl (so NO reply to this email!!!)
2. put as subject: i'm interested in your book
3. add your first ánd last name together with a correct e-mailaddress into the mail
4. check your inbox/junk mail regularly as you will receive an email from my publisher Free Musketeers. They will contact you with a promotion e-mail and information about how to order, where to order and what the price of the book will be.

I will make sure to send everyone a reply as soon as I receive your message that you are interested in buying the book. I'll put you on the list of names and make sure that your information will be put through to my publisher.

What happens?
I'll create a list of all the names and send this to my publisher, Free Musketeers Zoetermeer. They will create a promotionmail that will be send to the people from the list. I need 50 names. In that email you will find a summary of the book and information on how to order and to pay. I won't be sending this promotional message myself, so please check your inbox regularly and also your junk mail to see if you received any message from a company called Free Musketeers about a book called 'an impossible love'. When you have received the email you can order en my book will be in production.

About the book...

It's an English written book, if you find any mistakes in my grammar or spelling please forgive me as I did my outmost best to get it written in proper English.

The story is about 2 friends, a girl and 2 brothers. The girl is in the forest waiting for someone to come and get her. Someone to take her away from her life. But after hours and hours of waiting in the forest, he still hasn't come and she is about to give her hopes up. But then she notices something and when she gets closer she finds out it's the person who should come to get her (but hours ago...he's terribly late). From that moment the book takes a spinning turn and you will be sucked up in a race of people who tell stories about their past and the experiences they had with someone who chased after them in school who they now meet again. Someone dying, someone looking for revenge. And in the middle of this all there's a bond which no one can break...love, friendship and trust.

It's worth reading and I can tell you those who have read it in a premium stage have all been either crying or missing their connecting train. It is sort of a Tokio Hotel fanfiction but due to copyright I chose not to use the name, logo's or anything directly Tokio Hotel related for this book as I could get sued. Tokio Hotel fans will recognise the band in the story, non fans will not even notice that it's about this band in some way.

It will be just what you think about the story yourselves, but Ailine and the characters she meets in this story have the characters and personalities that everyone knows from the real life. Good personalities and terribly bad characters. It's a heavy story about life and death and the fight for something worth living for, luck and prosperity. It's a story you have to read, you have to feel and experience this story all by yourself.

I'm hoping for reactions from you and I promise it won't be a disappointment. I have to tell you it's not too humoristic like my superbill novels (which are purely written to laugh about).

I'll wait for your reactions at megan.boek@live.nl and thank you for the time you've taken to read this message through.

Regards,

Arianh, the manager of TH Mafia International

* for questions about the book you can reach me through megan.boek@live.nl

Thank you for your time

Music Mix: Tokio Hotel, A music mix.

A pair of twins who only just turned twenty are leading Germany’s latest musical blitzkrieg. Bill and Tom Kaulitz are half of the emo-pop foursome Tokio Hotel, and with the release of their second U.S. album Humanoid this October, the European superstars seem poised to finally break into America’s mainstream.

Why is this group of Hot Topic Deutschlanders leagues ahead of the competition? Maybe it’s lead singer Bill Kaulitz’s thick Robert Smith makeup and Mad Max punk fashion aesthetic. Or does the combination of twin brothers (and self-described soul mates) in a band truly make for emo magic?

We talked to them about guitarist Tom’s secret hip-hop recordings(!), Bill’s Twilight obsession, and why they named their band after a city they’ve never even been to.

Entertainment Weekly: Did you ever think you would end up so successful so quickly?
Bill Kaulitz: No, we never, ever expected that. We came from a small village and there is no music business there. We never expected it—it was a lot of happy and lucky moments for us, and we are totally happy that we got the chance to do all this. There was never a plan behind it. We just did our thing and try to be good.

EW: Does your success change the way you approach writing music? Do you ever go into the studio thinking, “I should I try to write a hit”?
BK: We try to push the pressure away. It’s not good in the studio if you think, “Oh, I have to write a hit like ‘Monsoon’ or something.” You just go ahead and write your thoughts down. Just try to do things you love and I think then it’s always good. If you like what you do then it’s fine.

EW: Tom, I hear you’re into hip-hop—would you ever try to incorporate that into your sound?
Tom Kaulitz: Sometimes—we have a home studio—sometimes I secretly put down some beats, some guitar beats and stuff like that, but I never tried that in our music. And I’m not a really good rapper, so I never tried that. Maybe one day, maybe in ten years or something, but for now, no, that’s not the plan.

EW: When you perform in English it sounds quite natural, but do you have to think about each syllable as you sing?
BK: In the beginning, for the first English record it was really hard for me because I’m a perfectionist and I really wanted it to sound natural and not like a German who tries to sing in English. So it took some time in the studio but now it’s totally fine for me. It was like the beginning of Tokio Hotel. Ten years ago we started with that—we started with English and German songs—but the English ones were so bad. It was not good English, kind of embarrassing. But now I get really use to it. If I’m onstage, it’s totally my song.

EW: You also have very distinctive looks. Are there any fashion influences you look to?
BK: I don’t think so. I never had a role model or something. But as a kid I loved all the vampire movies, so that might be an influence.

EW: Are you enjoying the vampire popularity with Twilight and everything?
BK: Yeah, I really love this movie. Everyone was talking about it, and I was very late. I didn’t know about the movie, and then everyone is like, “you have to see it, you have to see it,” and I was like, “okay, okay.” Then I was on the flight to L.A. and I saw the movie on the plane and it’s really, really good.

EW: Being brothers, especially twins, does that make touring and recording easier, or do you ever find yourselves competing?
TK: I think it’s both maybe, but it’s completely normal for us to be together. We always have the same friends, we always have the same interests in everything. We’re just, you know, together 24 hours, everything a day.
BK: And I can’t—we can’t—live without each other. We are always together. We are like one person and like soul mates. We don’t have to talk.
TK: But if we fight, it’s a really tough fight. We take everything we find, like a table and a chair and everything. We fight.
BK: But it’s not that often, most of the time we are totally like one person.

EW: Is there anything you haven’t accomplished as a band that you’d love to?
TK: Uh, yeah, we want to play in Tokyo.
BK: We’ve never been in Tokyo so far, so that’s one thing. And we want to play a world tour, that’s kind of a dream for us.

EW: So what’s with your love of Tokyo if you haven’t been there, what does it mean to you?
BK: I think we just heard about it and it’s like a huge city and of course it’s a cool sound: ‘Tokyo” sounds so cool. So that was the main reason why we chose it.

Iloveradio.de: Tokio Hotel interview about their new album.

After the unplugged-performance of Tokio Hotel in Cologne Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg wrote autographs patiently for 1000 fans! I LOVE RADIO hearer Alicia took her chance and made a pic from Bill within only 1 meter distance. Thanks for the picture, Alicia!

Backstage Tokio Hotel took half an hour time for an interview with I LOVE RADIO.

In the first part Tokio Hotel is talking about the new album “Humanoid” and reveals, which other new album-track next to “Automatish”/ “Automatic” will be released on their first single at September 18th!

Have fun with our exclusive backstage-interview, part 1! I LOVE RADIO publishes all answers of Tokio Hotel as audio-files – click here!

”Humanoid” – was does that actually mean?

Bill: “Humanoid was a life-emotion, that we always had. Especially Tom and I – since we were little – were accompanied by that a lot, and it had caught up with us during the album-production-phase again and again. Thus it was naturally to call the album that way.

Bill:
“Automatisch” deals about a girl, that doesn`t have real emotions and only acts them. We wanted to transport that at the cover by having this robot-arm – and the most human thing, that exists, namely the heart. I believe, that describes the song very good, and the feeling of the song.

Tom: The picture is just awesome. At the first side the cover seems to be a bid dark, but I think, if you deal with it more carefully und look at it for a while, then it isn`t that dark anymore. I think, it is very atmospheric.

Do we recognize you again at the new album „Humanoid“, or does the music sound totally different than before?

Bill: The track “Humanoid” describes actually very good, that it is a totally different song, we made us also free in the song-structure.
I`m really anxious, what people will say about it! It will be already on the new single. Apart from that the recent time and the last year have influenced us a lot of course at the song-writing. I don`t want to reveal too much, but I believe, you can hear that anyway.

Tomorrow it will become privately: Georg explains in the second part, why he just has revealed now, that he has a girl-friend since half a year. Did happen anything else in the last half year, we don`t know yet? Tomorrow you`ll know more: Tune in I LOVe RADIO and check our news-blog here at I LOVE RADIO-de.

Write your opinion in the comments or the shoutbox.

Welt.de: Being an adult is relative.

 "Being an adult is relative"
Laura Ewert 30 August 2009, 04:00

Children, time flies by: The Teen Stars from Tokio Hotel are almost twenty. Bill and Tom Kaulitz talk of crashes, with 15, their luck, to go shopping theirselves, and why they prefer to talk to Grandma's.

"Bill Kaulitz never leaves the house unvarnished," says the woman from the record company. The time in the mask must therefore always be calculated at appointments. And when the petite young man stands in front of you, you get a slight idea of how much time he needs for his appearance. Among the perfectly coiffed black and blond dreadlocks, a composition of a black and white line graces his eyelids, and his suitably painted nails. The hands in leather gloves have difficulty to arrange the mass of chains that are attached to his black shirt. His twin Tom is sitting next to him, on a couch in a hotel room with pink painted walls. He fancies himself as a street rocker with a leather jacket and braided hair. Not less expensive, but not as striking. Two ordinary guys in pop-star attire.

WamS: Bill, Tom, both your birthdays are on September 1st, what do you desire?
Bill:
I want to be together with my family, see my friends and drink coffee. I love coffee, I drink gallons of it. And I'd like a round of coffee with cream pies. And it would be great if everyone would be older than 60. Thus, a real coffee party.
Tom: Coversations with old people result in coversations that are completely off the beaten track. They have quite different thoughts. This would be great, every Sunday a coffee-party

WamS: Do you have any material desires?
Bill:
I don't.

WamS: A new car, maybe?
Tom: I think, that there's no one who would give me something physical as a present. But sure, I would be happy about a new car.

WamS: You're turning 20. Are you an adult?
Bill: I think I'll never grow up. But growing up is relative. I already thought when I was 13 that I can do whatever I want. Go into Clubs and drink alcohol - I always felt older than I really am.

WamS: Via distance learning you finished secondary school and got awarded for a particularly good performance.
Bill:
This is almost embarrassing, right?

WamS: A little bit.
Bill:
Tom and I hated going to school. That was the worst time in our lives. I feel sorry for everyone who goes to school.

WamS: What was so bad about it?
Tom:
Most of all we were scandalized because of our appearance in the school. But I think that the worst of all is, that the personality of each individual get's totally suppressed in school.
Bill: Tom and I got transferred into two different classes for disciplinary reasons in 7th Grade. We were really rebellious children, and almost got expelled from school. But not because of drugs or fights. But because of discussions, which the teachers simply weren't up to. And then you realize that pedagogy comes much too short in teacher education. A lot of people simply slip into the study because they see no other way. But if you want to be a teacher, you really have to want it and you have to have the passion for this job.

WamS: A lot of your fans take you as their role model. Are there any values that you want to convey?
Tom:
We really don't think of ourselves as role models.

WamS: But you exemplify it a little bit. Are you aware of this?
Tom: No, very often not. You have to free yourself of this. We have very limited free space anyway. I don't want to suddenly pay attention to not use swear words in interviews.

WamS: But you, for example, supported an Anti-AIDS campaign.
Tom: Of course, sometimes we try to stand up for things which we think are important. But in the end: I hate this "Role-Model-Position" (Cmmt: Like, people always taking them as an example, pointing the fingers at them etc.). I don't want to turn into something like this.

WamS: Will you vote?
Tom: Uhm, yes. Let's see.
Bill: Then, in any case, the first time.

WamS: What's the percentage of normalcy in your life?
Bill: 1%.

WamS: Is it the same as with the international stars, that you can't even go shopping?
Tom:
Yes, absolutely. When we started making music, we were at an age where our parents bought everything for us - now we're at an age where we need to do this by ourselves but we can't.
Bill: It sounds kind of cool to have a personal assistant, who get's you everything you want. But I would also like to choose my yogurt by myself.
Tom: In the U.S., there are also supermarkets, which are open 24 hours a day. You can go down there at four in the night, when nobody else is there. We once walked into the toy department, and bought everything. Guns with arrows or remote-controlled cars.
Bill: And then we shot off the cars with the arrows. Totally ridiculous.

WamS: And how do you buy your clothes?
Bill:
Usually trough the Internet or from catalogs. Totally Boring. But sometimes you have to jump over your own shadow. Fuck it, if photographers and fans are outside the door. Sometimes you have to go out, you need this little piece of normalcy to live.

WamS: What's on your catering wish list?
Bill:
Actually, every year there's a new one. And I must admit that it's pretty long. But we are at home so seldom, that we always try to make it as comfy as possible. The most important things are coffee and real blankets in the hotels. These wool-blankets are the worst. Because they make you feel like you're at a camp. That is what is most important to me, a real blanket and pillow.

WamS: Do you still have normal friendships from the past?
Bill: Only (from the past). In the Tokio Hotel time we didn't get to know any new friends because we can't even really get to know each other. Everyone who meets us, already has an opinion about us.

WamS: Are you extra-cautious with getting in touch with new people because you have often been deceived?
Tom:
Yes, most of the times from hidden-editors. We had had extreme experiences at the beginning of our career. At 15 we were at every after-show party and we have, of course, been drinking alcohol. Back then, it was like this: You drank a sip of alcohol, and then the next day the editors called the Youth Welfare Office who wanted to call off the project (Cmmt: With the Project they mean their career as Tokio Hotel) completely.

WamS: But you probably get coached in how to deal with such situations.
Tom: No, we never did. And I do not even want someone who tells me how I should respond to the questions.
Bill: You have to learn this by yourself, by bolting into such a situation and then living with the fact that sometimes also bad things are written about you in the newspapers.

WamS: Do you get psychological support for such cases?
Tom:
Our family and friends are our psychological support. I could imagine getting professional help, but there's the problem with the time again.
Bill: I can understand, when people do that. The problem is, I don't believe in it.
Tom: I also always think I'm smarter than the psychologist himself.
Bill: Exactly. Everything I tell you, I tell you deliberately, because it's my problem. And then the psychologist would say: Yes, you need to take some time to think about it. And then I think to myself: Great, I also knew this before.

Tokio Hotel - Quarrel over number of Songs.

Post by www.tokiohotelrocks.com

It seems that Bill and Tom Kaulitz (19) had a little misunderstanding regarding the Tracklisting for the new TH-Album “Humanoid”! The long awaited album finally hits the stores by October 9, but up til now, the number of tracks was not set.“A few days ago, Bill and Tom had a little quarrel about the tracklisting”, said Manager/ Producer David Jost for “MTV News”. “But that little problem seems to be solved already.” Jost also said how many songs ‘might’ be on the album “Humanoid”: “Bill made a list of the songs. His last Version contained 13 Songs for the new album.” In general there had been a lot more songs to choose from: “From the 25 Songs that were written over the past twelve months, we have chosen final songs which we concentrated on this past months.” said Jost. “Bill and Tom just visited Los Angeles, to make the final recordings of Guitar and vocals.”

PAC-MAN

In the studio that Bill and I went to for the final vocal recordings, there was also one of these old Pac-Man gaming machines. Every time I couldn’t stand listening to all the wrong notes ;-) I left and killed time playing on it. Had I owned THESE shoes, I might have managed to get further than level 5....Dunks in the Pac-Man look!

Chevrolet is not really my thing but this model definitely is! A little while ago they introduced it at the auto show in Shanghai and it won me over right away. When looking at the thechnical side of this car it seems that it would suit people best with a strong drive to being suicidal. Definitely not recommended for beginners ;)

4861 Pictures, 500 Crayons and one Polaroid Camera!

Director David Wilson produced a clip for „You Came Out“ in the style of a flip-book based on 4816 pictures! I’m not really into this kind of music but the end result definitely turned out well. The idea especially for the video rocks and I really like the technique he used!

AUTOMATIC - AUTOMATISCH

I have to admit that Bill and I had some different opinions about what tracks to put on the album ;) but we couldn’t have agreed more on this song! The first single of our upcoming album HUMANOID will be AUTOMATIC (title of the German version: AUTOMATISCH).

And here is something for Gustav. Most drummers probably started out their carrer with pots and spoons in their mother’s kitchen, driving everyone around them crazy :) Gustav’s brithday is coming up soon and that’ll be my present for him so he can annoy us even more with his constant drumming.

MTV: Tokio Hotel's Humanoid Is Finished, After Brotherly Arguments.

Tokio Hotel's Humanoid is finished, after Brotherly Arguments
Bill and Tom Kaulitz argued over tracklist, producer says
By James Montgomery

They'd already settled on a title and a release date, so it was probably time for the guys in Tokio Hotel to actually finish recording Humanoid, the follow-up to their English-language debut, Scream.

And they have. According to producer David Jost, brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz have just returned from Los Angeles, where they put the finishing touches on the album, which has been in the works for nearly a year.

"Bill and Tom have just been in Los Angeles to do the final guitar and voice recordings. The production is finished and we're now mixing the album," Jost said in a statement to MTV News on Wednesday (August 5). "From the 25 songs we've written these past 12 months, we had gotten to a [final] selection of songs, which we've been focusing on, production-wise for the last months."

Jost went on to say that the Kaulitz have whittled those 25 songs down to 13, which will comprise the tracklist for Humanoid. But it wasn't easy.

"A few days ago, Bill and Tom had a little argument about what should be the final tracklist for the album. But it seems that this internal problem has been solved," Jost wrote. "Bill has now compiled a track list including all the songs that will be part of the Humanoid album. According to Bill's latest version, 13 songs will be on the new album."

And what will those 13 songs sound like? Well outside of some YouTube leaks — snippets from a pair of Humanoid songs, "Dark Side of the Sun" and "Pain of Love" dribbled out back in June — few people seem to know. Jost had previously mentioned that Kaulitz had been drawing inspiration from the world of science-fiction, and earlier this year, production team the Matrix told MTV News that they had recorded eight songs with Tokio Hotel, and that the material was "strong, anthem-y" stuff with a dark edge and "lots of guitars."

In his statement, Jost hinted that the new material might be more somber and stream-of-consciousness. Or at least that's what we think he's saying ...

"Already as a young boy Bill held an immense melancholy within himself. At the writing and recording sessions, his emotional extremes are his greatest asset. In the studio Bill's truth is always his last mood and his latest feeling," Jost wrote. "Sometimes Bill was entering the studio — dreaming wide awake — and then he pulled out those crumpled-up slips of paper with his song ideas on it, from various pockets and bags."

...completely nuts? Luckily they are! I mean otherwise they wouldn’t be able to come up with this kind of video. Warren Fischer and Casey Spooner return with a – let’s say - pretty freaky video. I’m fascinated by the way they use lights, colours and shapes....and the song even features guitars (!)

Here is something new about my little brother: Just like in part one of Luc Besson’s „Arthur and the Minimoys“, Bill will also be Arthur’s voice in the second part (German version). Of course, I allowed him to take on the role, I mean the producers had originally asked me... Just kidding ;-) I think Bill is actually pretty good at it! Looking forward to Nov. 26th because that's when the movie hits the big screen in Germany....

OK, how is it possible to eliminate all sense from gaming? Seriously, what nerd comes up with this kind of stuff? That is balls! :D The guy (he must be male) probably played with to much Lego robotics when he was little. Anyway, we’ve had so many intense Guitar Hero & Rock Band battles on our tour bus during the past U.S. tour and so I’m still a fraction of a second faster than this crazy machine.
